Effective July 1, 2024, all clients (existing clients all re-register every fiscal year) will register electronically with the NEFP volunteers. Central PA Food Bank is providing the hardware and software program. Our volunteers are using a practice program to get ready for the new fiscal year. The change is our effort to maintain more accurate records. In addition, there are no geographic territories; thus, we can serve qualified individuals and families who live in York County. Please support our volunteers during this transition with patience and understanding.

WELCA's next meeting will be on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 12:00 noon. Bring your lunch and something to drink. Dessert will be provided. WELCA and others have been collecting postage stamps that are used on mail we receive. These stamps are sent to the Brethren Home at Cross Keys for a fund raiser they have been using to help provide needed equipment for the residents and staff. There is information on a message board at the front of the church. An envelope will be on the long bulletin board that the stamps will be place into. The stamps are given to an individual who works at Cross Keys, and she delivers them. The information on the message board explains how the stamps need to be cut off the envelopes. If the stamps are damaged, they cannot be used. Thank you for your help with thisOutreach Project. If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Sowers or any WELCA member.
We were able to put together 20 school kits to be used by Lutheran World Relief. Hopefully, we will find out where the were sent and used.

Wanted: we are looking for pictures of Church events. We will be working on making an inhouse directory and would like to have a section on events at Christ Lutheran. If you have any available, please email them to the office of drop off at the office. If you need your picture returned, please place it in an envelope with your name and address. We hope to have this ready at the start of the new year.
Also, the directory information for members will be on the hall table. Please check to see if your information is correct. Also, if you know of someone who is no longer attending or has moved, please cross them off the list. We will be having this list out until the end of November, so please share this bulletin announcement with family and friends. We want to have this as accurate as possible. We thank you for your diligence in this matter.
